Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Joy offers a safe place to process, heal, and grow. Sometimes life gives us more than we can handle or it gets too complicated to navigate on our own. Counseling can provide the additional support needed to make it to the other side. Joy is passionate about helping others find healing and peace as well as experience God’s grace, love, and mercy.

Joy’s work experiences include 24 years in education as a teacher, reading coach, and currently a full-time elementary school counselor. She has attended and facilitated numerous small groups over the years as she loves to learn and grow. Other life experiences include skydiving for her 40th birthday. Her happy place is watching the sun set at the beach.

Joy is also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Prepare Enrich Marriage Assessment.
